Booking & Payment
How do I book a tour?
Easy — just pick a tour you love, choose your date and group size, and pay securely by card. You'll get a confirmation email right away.
Is it safe to pay online?
Absolutely. We use Stripe — the same payment system trusted by Amazon and Shopify. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
Can I pay in Jamaican dollars?
All prices are listed in USD for consistency, but we show the JMD equivalent too. Payments are processed in USD.
Do I pay the full amount upfront?
Yes — paying upfront secures your spot and means no confusion on the day. Simple and done.
Can I book for a large group?
Our vehicle comfortably fits up to 7 guests. For bigger crews, just message us and we'll sort out additional vehicles.
Cancellation & Changes
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel 48+ hours before your tour and get a full refund. Within 48 hours, it's non-refundable — but if the weather shuts us down, you always get your money back.
Can I reschedule my tour?
Of course! Just let us know at least 24 hours before and we'll find a new date that works — no extra charge.
What if the weather is bad?
Jamaica's weather is beautiful most of the year. But if we have to cancel because of serious weather, you'll get a full refund or a free reschedule — your call.
The Day Of
Do you pick us up from our hotel?
Most tours include hotel pickup from major zones in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and surrounding areas. Check the individual tour page for pickup details.
What vehicle will we be in?
We roll in a late-model Toyota Voxy/Noah — air-conditioned, comfortable, and well-maintained. Seats up to 7 guests.
What should I bring?
Each tour page has a specific packing list. Generally: comfortable clothes, sunscreen, bug spray for outdoor tours, a camera, and water. We handle the rest.
Are children welcome?
We love family tours! Kids 2 and under ride free. Children 3-12 get a discounted rate on per-person tours.

Is Island Mystiq Tours locally owned?
100%. Hugh Chambers was born and raised in Jamaica and personally leads every tour. You're booking with a real local, not a faceless agency.
How is this different from resort excursions?
Resort excursions are crowded buses with scripted guides. With us, you get a private or small-group experience, a guide who actually knows Jamaica, and the freedom to make it your own.
